Coming Soon to C#

Microsoft has a techpaper about language features coming up soon for C#: generics, iterators, anonymous methods, and partial types.

I've only actually used C# for some toy programs, not being a Microsoft and Mono not being quite far enough along yet, but what I've read [amazon] has been pretty impressive -- Java without some of Java's warts (with some of its own, of course).

The generics look well designed. Iterators look reasonable, but somewhat unnecessary. Anonymous methods are lambda functions with closure! Partial types look like a workaround for the lack of a macro preprocessor.

Lambda functions in a C-like language...Mono's sounding more and more interesting.
